from theory:

1. failure of cooling system
2. failure of magnets
3. collision of proton/lead ion near enough to tube wall to successfuly produce sustaining black hole
4. continuous growth of black hole (earth is destroyed)

new theory:

1. events 1-4 from theory
2. after earth is destroyed, black hole's gravity changes solar system
3. solar system gets absorbed, or new orbits form (most likely the gas giants and sun get absorbed)
4. if the black hole is in motion, then i may disturb (and absorb) other nearby stars

the black hole is most likely to stop at our solar system, though anything is possible--
